Tucked away in nature, our cabins are well-spaced, ensuring that your pup won’t be triggered by other people and dogs. It’s like social distancing but way more fun. Note: The New Mexico cabin does have wildlife such as deer and elk that roam through almost daily. If you prefer to avoid wildlife, the Texas cabins rarely have wildlife sightings. Although we can’t promise that a surprise Texas critter doesn’t show up unannounced!
Private Spaces
We know that reactive dogs thrive in low-stress environments. That’s why Lazy Pines offers private fenced yards, in very secluded spaces. Lazy Pines New Mexico is located on half an acre in a very quiet neighborhood. The trees block views of any neighbors. Our Texas cabins have short trails right outside your cabin door. They can sniff the seven acres to their heart’s content. Note: Guests at both Texas cabins share the trails, but you can easily avoid each other by taking different paths or book both cabins for a completely private experience.
Cabins Designed for Dogs
Our cabins aren’t just pet-friendly—they’re pet-approved! Each one is stocked with blankets, toys, and tons of amenities like dog bowls, shampoo, towels and more. And with doggie beds so comfortable, your pup might just give up their spot on the couch (but not likely!).
